Questions
What should I bring to my session?
Bring a water bottle, two towels (one to sit on in the sauna and one to dry off after the cold plunge), and sandals with good grip for transitioning between heat and cold. Since we are a mobile popup, there are no lockers on-site — we recommend leaving valuables in your vehicle.
Where are your sessions held?
We are a popup sauna business, which means our location changes. See upcoming dates on the home calendar or the full pop-ups schedule. We set up our wood-fired sauna and cold plunge at scenic outdoor spots around Northern Colorado, so every session is a unique experience.
How does a private popup buyout work?
When a popup session is still empty, you can reserve the whole session privately for your group. The buyout holds the full time slot for you, up to that session's listed capacity. At checkout, we ask how many private attendees you plan to bring so our team can prepare; that count does not change the price.
Are sauna hats recommended?
Sauna hats are optional, but many guests love them for extending the time they can comfortably stay in the heat. Felt hats protect your hair, keep your head from overheating, and reduce sweat dripping into your eyes. We occasionally have hats available for purchase on-site.
How long should I stay in the sauna?
Listen to your body first. Start with 8-12 minutes per round if you are newer to the practice and work toward 15 minutes as your tolerance grows. Step out for fresh air anytime — there is no expectation to push past your comfort level.
How long should I cold plunge?
Aim for 2-3 minutes per plunge. Our cold plunge tub is maintained between 45°F and 52°F. Focus on calm, steady breathing, and exit earlier if you feel numbness, dizziness, or shortness of breath.
What are the benefits of alternating sauna and plunge?
Contrast therapy pairs heat and cold to stimulate circulation, support lymphatic flow, and enhance recovery. Many guests report deeper sleep, reduced muscle soreness, and an overall uplift in mood after alternating rounds between the sauna and cold plunge.
Sauna etiquette 101
Arrive hydrated, and keep voices low to preserve the tranquil atmosphere. Lay a towel down before you sit, wipe down any surfaces you use, and step outside to cool down if you need to stretch or chat with friends. Respect the shared space so everyone can enjoy the experience.
What should I wear?
Wear a clean swimsuit or quick-dry athletic wear that is free of metal fasteners. Light, breathable fabrics help you regulate body temperature, while avoiding lotions or heavy fragrances keeps the air pure for everyone sharing the space.
Is contrast therapy safe for beginners?
Yes. We welcome first-timers at every session and our staff is on-site to walk you through each step. Start with shorter intervals, keep your breath steady, and skip the plunge if you have any concerns. Guests with cardiovascular conditions should consult a healthcare professional before participating.
